I’ve always been drawn to the meaning behind moments. Not just how they look, but how they feel.
My presence is both intuitive and intentional, allowing me to step into a wedding day with a calm steadiness while also knowing when to gently guide and when to simply observe. I value connection deeply, and I approach each couple with a quiet compassion and genuine kindness so you feel comfortable, understood, and fully at ease in front of the camera. I strive to pay close attention to what often goes unseen... the quiet exchanges, the subtle gestures, and the emotion that lingers just beneath the surface.
My work reflects that balance: timeless, true to tone, and rooted in authenticity. Every image is created with the intention of feeling refined without ever appearing forced.
Above all, my priority is creating an experience where you feel fully seen, fully present, and genuinely cared for, allowing your story to unfold naturally, exactly as it was meant to.

Dan brings a perspective that is both thoughtful and refreshingly different. He’s an outside-the-box thinker by nature. He is someone who sees moments from angles others might miss and translates them into film in a way that feels both creative and intentional.
He’s known for his wit and his kindness, which naturally puts people at ease. Whether he’s quietly documenting a moment as it unfolds or offering a lighthearted comment at just the right time, his presence is both grounding and up-lifting.
His approach to videography is centered on capturing movement, sound, and emotion with subtlety and care, preserving not only the events of your day, but the atmosphere surrounding them.
Behind the scenes, Dan also plays a vital role in the business managing systems, analytics, and client experience to ensure everything runs seamlessly. As he continues to grow in his craft, we look forward to expanding videography as a fully integrated part of what we offer.
The heart & Origin of ASP
Not long after I was adopted, my parents bought me my very first camera, a simple point-and-shoot. They wanted to capture all of the moments they had missed during the first ten years of my life before we found each other.
As I grew older, I realized just how much those photographs meant to me. They became little snippets of my childhood that I could hold onto, memories I may have otherwise never had. At the same time, though, I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness knowing there were so many moments from my early years that had never been documented. There were no portraits of me as a baby or toddler, and that absence stayed with me.
For as long as I can remember, I've always had a natural pull toward photography. Every year my bedroom walls would be covered with 4x6 prints, carefully Scotch-taped from floor to ceiling. Friends, family, birthdays, pets....you name it, there was probably a photo of it on my wall. It wasn't until about two years ago that I finally retired the Scotch tape and graduated to picture frames.
During high school, I bought my first DSLR camera and decided to give photography a try. At the time, though, I didn't fully pursue it, and before long my camera found its way onto a shelf where it sat for several years.
Eventually, with my husband's encouragement, I picked it back up and decided to give photography another chance. What began as a leap of faith quickly grew into something far greater than I ever imagined. Through the trust and support of so many incredible clients (many of whom I now consider family) my passion blossomed into the work you see today.
As my business continued to grow, I was often asked, "Why photography?" Every time I heard that question, my mind returned to one particular moment. I was looking through my husband's baby photos and suddenly realized that I didn't have any baby photos of my own to someday share with our future children or include in our family history.
In that moment, my "why" became incredibly clear.
I photograph because I know firsthand how precious memories are, especially the ones we cannot recreate. My purpose is to preserve your legacy! Not only for you, but for your children, your grandchildren, and the generations that will one day want to know the story of where they came from.
I want my clients to have something tangible that allows them to revisit the laughter, the tears, the handholds, the joyful embraces, the first kisses, and every beautifully ordinary moment that makes life so extraordinary. Because one day, these photographs won't simply be images, they'll become family heirlooms.
That's why I believe every couple, every family, every friendship, and every milestone deserves to be documented with timeless imagery that reflects the beauty of their unique story.

Ally made sure to direct us and took us to multiple spots at one location to capture photos. My boyfriend and I had so much fun between us both was a very intimate fun experience. If I knew then what I know now I would have picked up my camera more often and took the time to learn about it so I could capture so much of my childhood that I no longer have to look back on.
